CHILI COOKOFF!
Welcome to the Hoppin' Jalapeno Chili Cook Off!! You will
have the opportunity to create a CHILI Recipe that will make
your team the talk of the town.
THE GAME
We’ll divide your group into teams who will attempt to create
a recipe for award winning chili. We’ll coordinate with your
chosen facility to supply the ingredients needed…then leave
it to the teams to create! Our fine panel of judges, along
with our Head Chef, will enjoy sampling and giving awards in
various categories.
THE GAME PLAN
The teams are supplied with key ingredients, including chili
powder, cayenne pepper, chili peppers, tomatoes, green
peppers, onions beans, cornstarch and meat. The chefs create
team aprons and a chili chant for this unique and tasty
event, while they work together, in hopes of catching the
judge’s taste buds.
THE EVENTS
Consider this a fun-filled, complete event-that works well as
an icebreaker, or reception program as well as fun
teambuilding event! We will provide you with our Master of
Ceremonies, Fun Staff, aprons, and sound Pots, Utensils,
Spices and Burners. The perishable ingredients are to be
supplied by the facility or caterer.
While the gastronomical delights are cooking, teams will
participate in some fun audience games to earn money to
purchase supplies and ingredients:

Your team has 45 minutes to complete the following tasks:
- Choose Chili Name
- Select a Head Chef
- Create a Recipe and Prepare the Creation
- Decorate your Team Aprons
- Prepare a Team Chili Chant for Presentation at Judging
During the preparation time your team will send a member to
participate in several audience games for extra Chili Points.
Judging will be based on the following:
Team Presentation (Team Name, Apron Design and Chili
Presentation)
